Media Manager and Committee member, Hayley Newman, has departed the club after five years of service.

Newman joined the Sirens in 2019 from Chichester City, and has seen the club reach two SDFA Cup finals and a magical FA Cup run in 2019/20.

Chairman Russ Kitching said on the departure, “I just want to say a big thank you to Hayley for all the excellent work and coverage for the club over the years.”

“Your work, interviews and coverage has given the club a high presence and filling your shoes will not be an easy task.”

“I, on behalf of the club, wish you all the very best. Thank you again Hayley.”

Newan said via Twitter, “It’s with a heavy heart that I confirm my departure from Southampton Women’s FC. I didn’t make the decision lightly, but I feel like this is the right one for myself at this time.”

“To every player, coach and volunteer I’ve worked with, thank you for everything you’ve done. It was a pleasure and an honour.”

The club wishes Hayley all the best with her future endeavours.
