Southampton Women's FC is delighted to confirm the Sirens as our new official club nickname.

Following a period of consultation where the club worked on creating an identity to cement our place in Southampton.

The key aims going forward with our identity:

• We are a women's football team
• We play good football
• We're here to win
• We're not Saints
• We are from Southampton

Working directly with Kit and Bone on this the Sirens was born.

Inspired by the mythical sea creature from Ancient Greek mythology the beautiful song of the Sirens is all about playing the game the right way and then shipwrecking anyone who ventures into our waters.

Support the Sirens this season as we push on to reclaim our spot in the city as the club for Southampton.
