Southampton Women's FC were knocked out of the FA Women's National League Plate by Leeds United in a 2-0 loss in Tadcaster.
The Yorkshire-based side took the lead thanks the Amy Woodruff slotting into an empty net on the half-hour mark.
Leeds defended well and kept the Sirens out before Woodruff doubled the lead late on after the visitors had a call for a penalty denied.
Aaron Smith was one player short as Southampton made the trip north as Britt Jeal pulled out through illness.
Shannon Sievwright and Summer Kilby returned to starting line-up while teenager Gabri Tchuenkam made the bench.
The hosts had first blood with an early shot from Woodruff who was making her presence known to the Southampton defence.
Carrie Simpson was alert in the United goalmouth intercepting Hope Suominen's flicked-on pass before it reached Kilby.
The goalkeeper had a few things to deal with shots from Suominen and a Chloe Tucker free-kick but they were all comfortable claims for Simpson.
Leeds were quick when getting forwards but their shots at goal were missing their intended target as Macy Ellis scuffed a shot.
Tadcaster Albion FC's pitch was causing issues for both sides, who tried to play good passing football, as the bobbles caught out Sievwright her strike at goal going wide.
With half an hour played, Leeds got the breakthrough.
A long ball was controlled superbly by Woodruff to tuck it around Sara Luce, who had rushed off of her line and slot home into the now empty net.
Minutes later Woodruff thought she had doubled the lead with a delightful lobbed strike but she had wandered offside as the pass was played.
Sievwright curled a good ball towards the back post for Rachel Okoro but she wasn't quick enough to get on the end of the cross.
Leeds came out strong in the second-half at both ends of the pitch.
Luce was kept busy as she claimed Olivia Smart's free-kick before parrying a strong shot from Abbie Brown.
Brown and Ellis grew into the game to keep the Sirens' backline under pressure.
In the 68th minute, substitute Tchuenkam had a golden opportunity to equalise with an empty goal but she put her shot well wide.
Suominen was keeping the Southampton attack alive, a long-range shot was straight at Simpson before she played a great switch to Tchuenkam but the youngster couldn't control the ball.
The hosts held firm and fought for every ball that came anywhere near their box.
Hearts were in the mouths of everyone at the ground when Okoro broke into the box and was brought to the floor however, the referee waived play on.
It was a decisive decision as Leeds doubled their lead in the 88th minute.
Attacking in numbers Leeds threatened the Sirens' box, Laura Vokes' block denied the shot but the ball fell perfectly for Woodruff to smash home to seal the win.
The final whistle came and Leeds progressed into the Final of the National League Plate.
