Southampton Women's FC is delighted to confirm that First Team coach Matt Graves has been confirmed as the new Manager of our Reserve Team.

Graves joined the club in the summer of 2020 joining from Crawley Wasps and has worked under First Team Manager, Aaron Smith to learn the ropes.

While working with the First Team coaching setup Graves has learnt and developed which has led to him being given the opportunity to take up the reigns as manager of the Reserves.

On his appointment, Graves said: "I’m really excited to have been given the role of Reserve Team Manager.

"Since taking over the players have bought into the values that I set as a manager and the rest of the season is already looking bright.

"So far this season a total of six Reserve players have gone on to make their First Team debuts and I would really like to see this continue during my tenure."
