Silverlake Stadium to host Southampton Women's FC

This season Southampton will play home games at the home of Eastleigh FC.

Southampton Women's FC is delighted to confirm that we will be playing our home games at the Silverlake Stadium home of Eastleigh FC.

It's been a long search during the close season with a couple of nearly moments in the club's hunt for a home location for the 2022/23 season.

After much deliberation and a successful agreement has been put in place between the two clubs to support the women's game following a fantastic summer for the sport.

Chairman Russ Kitching said: “After a desperate search for a home ground this season we are pleased to announce a working relationship with Eastleigh FC to host our home games this season.

This is subject to operational constraints imposed on the ground.

We would like to thank Eastleigh FC for wanting to work with us this season in a ground share arrangement."

Due to prior arrangements, the first game to be hosted at the Silverlake will be on September 25th against Moneyfields.

The first home game of the season against Exeter City will take place at Miller Park home of Totton & Eling FC.

Manager Aaron Smith said: "A huge thank you to Totton & Eling, AFC Totton and Southampton FC Women for helping us out, to ensure we have a ground to host our first home game of the season."


Entry to Exeter

On Sunday, September 4th Exeter City travel to the south coast in the FA Women's National League Division One South West and entry has been frozen once again.

Adult entry is £5 while seniors remain at £3 and under-16s continue to get free entry.

Additionally, as a thank you to Totton & Eling, AFC Totton and Southampton FC Women all of their season ticket holders can watch the game for free upon showing a valid season ticket at the gate.

The prices will be the same for all home fixtures at the Silverlake Stadium.
