The draw for the FA Women's National League Cup has been made

Southampton Women's FC have been drawn away to Cambridge City in the Determining Round of the FA Women's National League Cup.

The winner progresses into the next round of the League Cup while the losing side will compete in the National League Plate.

Last season saw the Sirens narrowly lose 1-0 to eventual National League Division One South West Champions Cardiff City at the same stage of the competition.

While they did drop into the League Plate, they reached a club record semi-final where they fell to Leed United of Division One North.

The run included the 8-0 humbling of Hounslow and the fantastic 4-3 comeback win against Southern Premier side Billericay Town.

Jamie Lloyd Davies' side will make the 300 mile round trip to The Demcom Stadium to take on the Division One South East outfit on Sunday, August 27th.
