Southampton Women's record fourth consecutive clean sheet as they book place in the Hampshire Cup quarter-finals.

Southampton Women's return to the Hampshire Cup was a positive one as they reached the quarter-finals with a 10-0 victory over Bournemouth Sports on Sunday.

There were braces for E-J May and Kiera Heslam in the first-half before Sam Burt bagged her first club goal after the break.

Sian Wylie scored a hat-trick coming off of the bench, while Britt Jeal and Aliss Wheeler wrapped up the win.

Aimee Lawrence was given her second start for the First Team while Manisha Kaur was called up from the Reserves to get her debut.

Further rotations were made as Sian Wylie, Gracie White and Lauren Cheshire were on the bench for the encounter.

Southampton got the game started with high intensity and were rewarded for that when May hit the back of the net after seven minutes.

The attacking midfielder scored directly from a free-kick, her inswinging left-footer getting the best of the goalkeeper.

Three minutes later May capitalised on an error from the keeper to double the lead from Lawrence's cross into the box.

In the 16th minute Heslam scored twice in two minutes scoring both at the back post once from a Lawrence cross and the second she pounced on the saved rebounded effort from Jeal's shot.

It was a controlled performance as Bournemouth battled to get a foothold in the game but Southampton showed strength heading into the break.

Southampton came out in the second-half with the same tempo as the first, Burt controlled the long cross from Heslam to switch the play across the box, turned the defender before side-footing the ball in for her first goal.

Minutes later Emma Whitlock looked to have gotten her first goal for the club with a wonderful free-kick but substitute Wylie guided the ball in with the slightest touch of her head.

Jeal got her fourth goal in as many games with a lovely first time finish on Burt's cut back to the edge of the area.

As the game drew to a close Southampton scored three more times in four minutes to round off the game.

Wylie scored twice; the first from a great pass by Wheeler to finish with her left foot before May played her through to score with her right foot.

It made it two hat-tricks in two games for Wylie and a perfect one for the newly turned striker.

Some more neat football set up Wheeler for a lovely, calm strike at goal which saw her open her own account for the club.

The final whistle came and with it a sixth clean sheet of the season plus a place in the quarter-finals of the Hampshire Women's Senior Challenge Cup.
